Facts:

  1. There are some 1,119 pages in Leonardo's sketches in his books which are divided into 12 volumes.

  2. There were drawings of paintings,emotions,animals,babies,dissections,plant studies,rock formations,whirlpools,and war machines(tank and helicopter)all in his notebooks.

  3. He wrote in mirrior form so because it was easier or so people couldnt read as easy.Leonardo knew a lot of an animals body through dissecting. He also did from humans. Some people who died at war were dissected by leonardo.

  4. In 1505 Leonardo worked a little bit on the mechanics of flight and the air movements. He only had 17 pages out of all his notebooks that had to do with machanics of flight.

  5. Most of Leonardo's inventions were never created. The only one he created was his glider

Leonardo was a brilliant scientist, inventor, and painter. He kept sketches in his notebooks of all his projects. He had sketches for a tank, glider,helicopter, and a lot more all in his notebooks. Most of his inventions were never created, the only one was the glider and it actually worked! He had at least 1,119 pages in his books that were divided into 12 volumes. Leonardo was also interested into the human body. He dissected dead bodies and drew their organs, their bones, heart, practiclly everything in the human body all in his notebooks!
